The most hateful thing about life is the constant unwelcome surprises that it springs on you. I finally decide on a university - for the first time in seventeen years I know what I'm going to do (atleast for another four years), I finally stop rebelling against the system and get into a prestigious university (which by the way is so annoying - I keep on getting these smug smiles from aunties who congratulate me with this resigned look which says "ofcourse you're going there, girls like you always go there" I mean why cant I go to some other university? WHy is it mandatory for me to go there? And I'll be labelled for the rest of my life as someone who graduated from there and will have to behave accordingly and I'll probably end up getting a proper job and marry a proper person and live a proper life for the rest of my days).
But that wasn't what this rant was to be about. I just discovered that the most annoyingly horrible female I know is also coming to that damned university - I have no idea why. She doesn;t belong to our system I don't understand why she doesn't get it. DOesn't she know we'll never tolerate her intrusion? Why will I have to put up with her disgusting, crude, noveau riche ways and her vulgar flirting (I have nothing against flirting just do it with elegance) for another four years?
On the other hand - if one is an optimist I might never even come across her.
Or we may end up as best friends.
Or not. I don't want to rebel against the system to that extent.
